Webinar: German REDIII RFNBO transport targets
The German government proposes to utilize EU’s Renewable Energy Directive III (REDIII) to implement ambitious green targets for the transport sector.
For example proposes the government to begin with the introduction of 0,1% RFNBO (Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin) already in 2026 in the transport energy mix, rising to 8% in 2040.
The Danish implementation of the directive is far less ambitious – only 0,9% in 2030 and no targets either before or after this year.
What can Denmark learn from the German REDIII implementation? This will be one of the central questions in our deep-dive webinar: “German REDIII RFNBO transport targets”.
Alexandru Floristean, operational partner at Hy24, will guide us through the ins and outs of the German proposal (which must be formally approved by parliament in March this year) and what we could learn form it in Denmark. The session will be moderated by Hydrogen Denmark’s CEO, Tejs Laustsen Jensen.
The webinar will be in English, open to all, free of charge, and it will be possible to ask questions.
