Broad political agreement prioritises green research

The first sub-agreement in connection with the budget negotiations has been agreed on between the government and the rest of the parties of Folketinget. In this sub-agreement, green research has again been given high priority with a total grant of DKK 1.6 billion, so that the total level of earmarked grants for green research and development in 2022 lands at DKK 2.4 billion.

The grant makes it possible to continue research efforts in areas such as capture and storage or use of CO2, as well as green fuels for transport and industry, including Power-to-X technology.
